Even with the party cancelled we hit the streets in search of lots and lots of candy. You would have never known there is a recession here because most neighbors were handing out full size candy bars this year. We still have a ton of candy left that I am sure will last until Easter.

Halloween...
We had a great Halloween party planned with our neighbors but had to cancel because the Swine Flu hit our neighborhood that weekend. It started with the G family, moved to the S family and hit our family last. We are nearly all recovered now but it has been a long few weeks. Luckily everyone in the neighborhood has helped each other out in some way or another. Whether it be babysitting, running to the store, or even dropping off meals. It is nice to know you have friends to count on in times of need.

Pottery
The girls and I headed to Fairhaven to the paint your pottery store. Kyla had been wanting to go for a while. I was a bit worried about Jill's attention span but she was amazing. She was so focused and her piece turned out so pretty. Kyla's piece is going to be a gift to someone so we do not want to spoil the surprise.
