New park...

Jill mastering the monkey bars. She was thrilled.

This morning we hit a park in a town just outside of Bellingham. It has an incedible play structure and the girl's loved it.

Major accomplishment....

On her 6th birthday Kyla took the big ride! She mastered the bike without training wheels. Now there is no stopping her. She is loving the freedom and the speed.

Jill on the otherhand is mastering tricks on her bike. The pics below show Jill's new move a scale, bike style.

Father's Day part 2....

We headed south to spend Father's day with Grandpa Mike and Grandpa Bob. Unfortunately I only had my camera for part of the day. But we wanted to wish all of the father's in our lives including Grandpa Gerrie a very Happy Father's Day. We are lucky to have you all in our lives and thank you for all you have done. We love you!

Father's Day...

Happy Father's Day Ted! You are the BEST Dad in the entire world. Your family always comes first in your life and you always make us your top priority. You take amazing care of us and we love you so much. Thank you for showing us patience and unconditional love. We are so proud of you! We love you-your girls.

Kyla's turns 6!!!

We had a 3 day birthday bonanza this year for Kyla's 6th Birthday. It started on Saturday with a kid's party at the local gymnastics club. Kyla and her friends had a great time. Lot's of laughter! After her party we headed to another friend's party. It was a long but super exciting day. We continued the birthday celebration into Sunday and Monday with the Grandparents, Aunts and Uncles and cousins. I can't believe she is 6.

Kyla you are an amazing girl filled with love, kindness and adventure. I am so proud of you. You have grown so much this year and have become so willing to try new things and enjoy the experiences! I love spending time with you and learn a lot about myself in the process. Here's to another great year! Love you Big!!!

Strawberry picking....

Went to Boxx Berry farm to pick strawberries. Jill's berries never seem to make it into her bucket. No wonder she always has a tummy ache on the way home.

Kyla's last sharing sheet.....

This is just for my record. I took a picture of the first one Kyla did in October and wanted to compare. I can't find the shot now but with post the first and last one just for prosperity. Her writing improved so much this year.

Jill Movie Day...

So with all of the end of the year excitement for Kyla, I thought Jill needed some fun as well. So we invited Jill's buddy Hazel over for some popcorn and movies. The girls had fun playing, eating and Watching Tinkerbelle.

Kyla's last day of Kindergarten!

Kyla is officially a first grader now. Wow! How fast this year went. Kyla had a great year in Kindergarten. Gained a ton of confidence, made some really sweet friends and learned a ton in the process. Everything she needed out of this year! Every morning she jumped on that school bus filled with excitement. Never wanting to miss a day! Thanks a ton to all the parents who made this year so great for the kids. And thank you to Mrs. Y who gave Kyla lots of love and encouragement!

So after we said our good byes for the summer we walked home, grabbed our swimsuits and headed to our classmate's house for a big end of the year party! It was a super fun party with pools, obstacles courses and of course, Ice Cream Sundaes. What a great way to end the year. Now looking forward to an amazing summer!!

Riverhouse....

We went on our annual trip with the Davis and Davidson Families. This year we were missing the Kosers but hope the join us for next years trip. It was a blast. It just keeps getting better and better each year. The kids are getting older and easier to manage and I love that they are creating lifelong memories. I can't til next year!

Enjoying this beautiful weather....

For the past month we have been enjoying day after day of sun! Unusual for this time of year here but we'll take it. This day we had some friends over to swim and play after school.

Boulevard Park...

One of our favorite places. Just a relaxing Sunday with the family.

Swim Lessons....

or the past few months we have been taking swim lessons at WWU. The girls have made amazing progress. Kyla went from not even putting her face in to becoming a full fledged swimmer. It has been so fun to watch. If you live in the Bellingham area I highly recommend these lessons. Great facilities and instructors.

School Barbeque...

Last week Kyla had her all school barbeque. Families were invited and then I stuck around to help out. I can't believe there are only 4 more days of school. Kyla had a great year in Kindergarten. A perfect way to start her elementary years. Way to go Big!!! You are almost officially a first grader. (sniff-sniff)

back at it.....

We have been having some major computer issues and we have finally figured it all out. Comcast had moved our phone down into our office which created havoc with our wireless router. Never put them together. It completes screws it all up. So finally I have access again. Whew. It was rough. I have a lot to catch up on and they might not be in order but enjoy....
