fun at Grandma's....

We went to Grnadma's house for a b-que and to spend time with Aunt Michelle before her big surgery. What a fun day. We are happy to report that Aunt Michelle's surgery went well and while she has a long recovery ahead we are excited for her to begin to feel better soon!!! We love you Aunt Michelle!

Jill had her last week of preschool at BBP. She will be attending gymnastics camp there through the month of June but had her final day of preschool on Tuesday. What a great experience for her. Jill loved her teachers and looked forward to school each day. She will definitely miss it this summer. Thanks for a great year ladies!

We took the bikes to the park the other day. The training wheels are still on. This will be a slow transition to a 2 wheeler. No rush though. Lot's of time.

Today was bike/walk to school day for the kids. With the sun shining we headed out to hit the trails and head over to the school. We are so lucky to be within walking distance of the school. It was such a beautiful day that we pratically skipped the entire way. On the way back Jill and I stopped at the swings and visited with our neighbor Ms. Robin and the deer. Jill always loves to stop and say Hi to Ms. Robin because she always has some sort of treat for her. Today it was homemade granola bars.

Mother's Day....

We had a mellow yet very sweet day. Thank you Ted, Kyla and Jill. I love you guys so much!!

Dinner with the S Family...

Billy never leaves without telling Kyla he loves her and the look on Kyla's face is priceless. She even gets a little giddy. So sweet.



On Saturday we had our friends over for dinner. The kids ran and ran for hours while we grown ups enjoyed good food and great conversation.

Bowling party....

On Saturday Kyla went bowling for the first time for her friend Ms.K's birthday. It was a lot of fun. The girls were surprisingly very competitive. This will definitely be something we do as a family. Good times!!

Kindergym...

In addition to the 2 days of preschool, Jill and I attend Kindergym that is put on by the city every friday. The can play, run and explore along with circle time and parachute time at the end. We always meet up with our friends Hazel and Lauren there. A good time is had by all. As you can see Jill always has to sit right next to the teacher during circle time.

Today Kyla had her school jog-a-thon. The rain let up slightly for their time slot. The laps were 1/8 of a mile and Kyla ran 19 laps in less than 30 minutes. She did great. Kept a steady pace and never stopped. She must have Ted's endurance! They had music playing in the background with lots of parents dancing and supporting the kids. All the kids enjoyed a popsicle at the end. I had Brady with me today so we all went to cheer on the kids. Way to go Kinders!!!!

Jill's allergies...

Jill has had a sudden onset of allergies. Everything ranging from the neighbor's dog to color crayons with paper on them. Here is her explanation of the color crayon allergy.

So I am sure you have all noticed that I have been neglecting the blog lately. I have not been very inspired. I have needed a bit of a break toting the camera along everywhere. My inspiration will return soon I am sure, but for now here is a little family update....

work, work and more work for Ted
lot's of walk/hikes through the trails in town
reading, reading and more reading (Kyla is doing great!)
learning to ride a 2 wheeler (Kyla though Jill is fast on her heals)
and lots more....
